August 31, 2017 - Sailors attached to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 1, secure 19-foot inflatable dive boats in preparation for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The preparations ensure UCT 1 is ready to respond to any requests to bolster Northern Command's support of FEMA's assistance to federal, state and local authorities' ongoing relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. September 1, 2017 - Hurricane Harvey victims ride a 920th Rescue Wing HC-130N bound for Dallas, Texas from Beaumont, Texas. The Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, based crew made time between aerial refuelings to assist the roughly 30 victims in getting to bigger collection point. Roughly 90 Airmen with the 920th RQW deployed to Texas along with three HH-60 Pave Hawks and two HC-130N Kings in support of Air Force Northern’s search and rescue mission for FEMA disaster relief efforts. Joseph Baker, LUH72 Lakota crew chief, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Texas Army National Guard, scours miles of Hurricane Harvey flooded areas for survivors north of Beaumont, Texas. August 30 , 2017 - Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, clear a room during Military Operations in Urbanized Terrain (MOUT) training at Andersen South Air Force Base, Guam. September 13-14, 2017 - An artist's rendering of the live-fire event at the 2017 USS Dahlgren Annual Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX). Monsoor. Michael A. Monsoor died in combat in 2006 and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
