Army Staff Sergeant David Bellavia Recognized on June 25, 2019 for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty in Fallujah, Iraq on November 10, 2004. Army Master Sgt. Matthew Williams Recognized on October 30, 2019 for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty during the Battle of Shok Valley in the Nuristan Province of Afghanistan in April 2008. Army Sgt. Major Thomas Patrick Payne Recognized on September 11, 2020 for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty during the mission to rescue over 70 Iraqi hostages in the northern town of Hawija on October 22, 2015. Army Sergeant First Class Alwyn C. Cashe Recognized on December 16, 2021 for his acts of gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty, in Salah Ad Din Province, Iraq on 17 October 2005, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom saving the lives of his teammates after being attacked by enemy small arms fire and an improvised explosive device which disabled the vehicle and caused it to become engulfed in flames. Army Sergeant First Class Christopher A. Celiz Recognized on December 16, 2021 while serving as the leader of a special operations unit comprised of partnered forces and members of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, on July 12, 2018, in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in Afghanistan willingly exposed himself to heavy and effective enemy fire to direct and lead an evacuation of fellow troops. Army Master Sergeant Earl D. Plumlee Recognized on December 16, 2021 for his acts of gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty on August 28th, 2013 (Airborne), responding to a complex enemy attack that began with a massive explosion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
