Heroic deeds are part of the combat fabric being woven
almost daily in Afghanistan. Soldiers do what they are
trained to do, and sometimes what they have to do.
And that is what
Army Capt. Ivan Torress did, earning him the Silver Star, the
third highest military award. He discusses the day when his unit was attacked
and what he did with reporter Gail McCabe.
