In the Fall of 2006, U.S. Army Sgt. Marvin Sanjurjo and his crew responded to an attack in the Al Hader neighborhood. Sgt. Sanjurjo's quick thinking saved the lives of his crew mates that day. He was awarded the Bronze Star with V Device.
