President Donald J. Trump presents the Medal of Honor to former Army Staff Sergeant David G. Bellavia at the White House on June 25, 2019. Bellavia receives the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry in support of Operation Phantom Fury in Fallujah, Iraq on November 10, 2004.

David Bellavia is the first living recipient of the Medal of Honor for actions during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
