Former President George H.W. Bush's state funeral at the
Washington National Cathedral on December 5, 2018. Bush, the
41st President of the United States, joined the military at
age 18 and was one of the youngest pilots in the Navy at the
time, serving as a World War II naval aviator and receiving
the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroics in 1944.
His son, George W. Bush (43rd President of the United
States) gives a heartfelt, emotional eulogy. Several close
friends also provide touching thoughts about this great
leader and patriot.
