But not long after they moved, we journeyed to Houston for a visit, and about a year later our doorbell rang and there he stood back with his family for a visit. That was the last time we saw Bill . . . We remember Bill as a somewhat shy, timid little boy who was so impacted by 9-11 that he felt compelled to drop out of Texas A&M University in his Junior year to serve his country. However, there was nothing timid about Bill's courage in combat. Though his parent's, sister, wife and large and extended family grieves for him, they have accepted his loss with incredible dignity and pride. They are proud of Bill, and rightfully so.
