President Trump Honors D-Day Veterans On 75th Anniversary
President Donald J. Trump and French President Emmanuel
Macron marked the 75th anniversary of D-Day by paying
tribute to surviving D-Day veterans at a ceremony in
Normandy, France on June 6, 2019.
President Trump's full
remarks are proceeded by an invocation; ending part of
French President Macron's remarks; and, President Macron's
presentation of the French Legion of Honour Award to five
World War II U.S. veterans.
