November 18, 2021 - The U.S. Navy’s
newest guided-missile destroyer, the future USS Daniel
Inouye (DDG 118) transits Pearl Harbor and arrives at its
home port Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam ... as Sailors man
the rails. Daniel Inouye made its maiden voyage to Joint
Base Pearl Harbor-Hickamof Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, prior to
its commissioning in December.
Inouye conducted a tour through the
Hawaiian Islands to pay tribute to the memory and legacy of
the late Senator Daniel K. Inouye and his lengthy career of
service to the people of Hawaii.
