Highlights of the Bataan
Amphibious Ready Group's 2017 deployment through August. The
ready group consists of the amphibious assault ship USS
Bataan (LHD 5), amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall
(LSD 50), amphibious transport dock USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19)
and the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
