U.S. Army medics from across the Army compete in a grueling
72-hour competition at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Camp
Bullis, Texas to be the Army's 2016 best medic team. The
competition physically and intellectually challenges the
two-soldier teams of Army medics in a simulated operational
environment ... as they are required to access a casualty
and get the injured soldier to the top floor of a building
for an awaiting MEDAVAC flight. Teams with the fastest time
win.
The Army's
Best Medic Competition is hosted by Army Medical Command and
conducted by the Army Medical Department Center and School.
