Silver Star Families of America
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that remembers. honors, and
assists the wounded of our Armed Forces from all wars.
They do this primarily by
presenting the wounded or their families a Silver Star Banner and Certificate.
The SSFOA has also expanded to include programs such as Hear4You, which consists
of volunteers who stand by to listen to any armed force member who may have a
problem, the Feed a Hungry Hero Program, Hand Held Game Program to assist hand
eye coordination for our wounded, Homeless vet program, Information for women
veterans and programs for PTSD, and TBI afflicted wounded.
