distinguished himself by extraordinary heroism as an Air
Force Special Tactics Combat Controller, attached to a Navy
Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Team, conducting reconnaissance
operations in Takur Ghar, Afghanistan on March 4, 2002 ...
paying the ultimate sacrifice while saving many of his
fellow special forces teammates. He was finally recognized
posthumously with Medal of Honor by President Donald Trump
in a White House ceremony sixteen years later on August, 22,
2018.
