A U.S. Army carry team transfers the remains of Spc. Gabriel
D. Conde (22) on May 3, 2018 at Dover Air Force Base,
Delaware.
Spc. Conde was serving his first combat
deployment in Afghanistan and was killed by small arms fire
during a firefight in the Tagab district in Kapisa province
east of Kabul on April 30, 2018.
Spc. Gabriel Conde
was an airborne infantryman assigned to the 3rd Battalion,
509th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team,
25th Infantry Division stationed at Joint Base
Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.
