October 12, 2014 - A moving report about the inspiring Scott County Freedom Rock in LeClaire, Iowa painted by artist Ray “Bubba” Sorenson. The Freedom Rock's heartfelt scenes honor the fallen and other heroes with the paint used for the "Gold Star" mixed with the ashes of a fallen hero, whose wife was present for the Freedom Rock's unveiling.

Ray “Bubba” Sorenson began honoring the fallen with the painting of a "USA Rock" for Memorial day in 1999. Click here to see the one he painted in 2003.
