About Oliver L. North
Oliver North, a graduate of U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, is a
retired Marine Lt. Colonel who served 22 years including combat duty in
Vietnam . . . receiving the
Silver Star, the Bronze Star for valor, and two Purple Hearts. His
honorable military service also included assignment to the National Security Council
staff in President Ronald Reagan's administration.
Currently, Oliver North serves as host of the
FOX News Channel (FNC)
documentary series
War Stories. He has also authored several
books; holds three U.S. patents; and, serves as the honorary
