President Barack Obama posthumously awards the Medal of Honor for Army Sgt. 1st. Class Jared C. Monti of Raynham, Mass., to his parents Paul and Janet Monti, Sept. 17, 2009, in the East Room of the White House in Washington D.C. "Jared Monti saw danger before him and he went out to meet it," President Obama said in the ceremony.
