U.S. Soldiers Fire M249 During FTX - KW26 August 27, 2026
August 23, 2026 - U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 100th Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, fire a M249 Squad Automatic Weapon during a field training exercise (FTX) as part of Exercise Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26) at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia. KW26 is the second iteration of the bilateral Army-to-Army military exercise between the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD), focused on building long-lasting partnerships, expanding bilateral interoperability, and increasing unit readiness.
