USMC Silent Drill Platoon Competes In JSDC April 18, 2026
April 11, 2026 - U.S. Marines with the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon execute their "bursting bomb" and "rifle inspection" sequences during the Joint Service Drill Competition (JSDC) at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC. The Silent Drill Platoon; as well as, other drill teams from their respective branch of the armed forces were evaluated on factors such as military bearing, precision, and crowd interaction. The U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team won this year's competition, after the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon held the trophy for the past two years.
