Amazing Redstone View March 22, 2026
Amazing view of the Redstone area in Lake Mead National Recreation Area (LMNRA) that features vibrant, red Aztec sandstone formations that are over 100 million years old. Redstone is located just off Northshore Road at mile marker 27. People can drive straight to the picnic area, park and hike the easy half-mile trail and/or climb among the red sandstone outcroppings and ancient lava flows.
