USS Fitzgerald Returns To NBSD Homeport January 11, 2026
January 6, 2026 - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) enters the San Diego Bay with its crew manning the rails as the ship returns to its homeport Naval Base San Diego (NBSD) following a seven-month deployment in the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleets that are associated with the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
