Allied Trilateral Ship Formation March 22, 2025
March 17, 2025 - The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), left, sails in formation with guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114), ROK destroyer Sejong the Great (DDG-991), ROK destroyer Dae Jo-yeong (DDH 977), and JMSDF destroyer JS Ikazuchi (DD 107) at an undisclosed sea location during a trilateral naval exercise. Trilateral exercises between the U.S. Navy, Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy, and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) continue to advance combined naval interoperability, ensure our militaries and self-defense forces can operate together against any threat, and demonstrate combined commitment to a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
