Marines Direct Fire Weapons - JV25 March 4, 2025
March 1, 2025 - U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division firing a M777 Howitzer, Browning M2 .50 Caliber Heavy Machine Gun, and a 40mm Mark-19 Automatic Grenade Launcher at a snow covered direct fire range during a Fire Support Coordination Exercise in preparation of Exercise Joint Viking 25 (JV25) in Setermoen, Norway. U.S. Marines are in Norway as part of JV25, a Norwegian military exercise focusing on arctic cold-weather training and military-to-military engagements.
