Amazing View Of Mount Oberlin, Lewis Range October 28, 2024 An amazing horizon view of Mount Oberlin (center right) and other mountains in the Lewis Range within Glacier National Park just northwest of Logan Pass in Montana. Below the summit to the northwest, water and melting snow off Mount Oberlin (8,184 feet) lead to the 492 feet Bird Woman Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Glacier National Park. Glacier National Park is a paradise for adventurous visitors seeking wilderness with melting glaciers, alpine meadows, carved valleys, and spectacular lakes along with reliving the days of old through historic chalets and lodges. Its famous Going-To-The-Sun Road drive offers breathtaking scenic views along a 50-mile mountainous route that is available once snow, ice covered conditions are no longer present that can extend into late-May. Then there are Glacier's 700 plus miles of trails for hikers who want to experience one step at a time with many for bikers too.
