Super Hornet, Growler CVN 71 Takeoff October 14, 2024 October 8, 2024 - A F/A-18E Super Hornet (top), attached to the “Fist of the Fleet” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 25, and an EA-18G Growler, attached to the “Rooks” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 137, take off of the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group 9, is underway conducting routine operations in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
