MWD Marco Attacks, Bites, Holds August 18, 2024
August 14, 2024 - Military Working Dog (MWD) Marco attacks, bites, and holds a USAF 902d Security Forces Squadron (SFS) MWD trainer in a protective suit upon receiving a command by military working dog handler U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Lauren Clifton, 902d SFS, during a training exercise at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. As a team, Clifton and MWD Marco demonstrate psychological deterrence techniques and response to a simulated threat. MWDs may also be skilled in explosive and narcotics detection to ensure the safety and security of military assets and communities.
