Scenic Brandywine Falls August 15, 2024 Scenic views of Brandywine Falls, a 65-foot waterfall, that is the centerpiece of the falls area of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Carved by Brandywine Creek, the falls demonstrates classic geological features of waterfalls. The falls once powered a thriving village, later industry, and eventually an artist's colony. Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which protects 22 miles of the Cuyahoga River and thousands of acres of its watershed ... with more than fifty square miles of thick forest, deep gorges, green wetlands, and rocky waterfalls in Ohio between the urban areas of Cleveland and Akron. There are also historic villages, an old canal towpath, farm fields, a covered bridge, and a sightseeing railroad in the park. People have lived in the Cuyahoga Valley for 13,000 years.
