Tall Ship Eagle Arrives In Boston August 12, 2024
August 8, 2024 - U.S. Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle (WIX 327) arrives in Boston Harbor (video). Cadets aboard the USCGC Eagle will provide free tours to the public as part of their summer training program. The 295-foot Barque Eagle, the flagship of the U.S. Coast Guard, conducts a four-month voyage across the Atlantic Ocean providing hands-on seamanship training for U.S. Coast Guard cadets. The 'Tall Ship' Eagle is the only active-duty sailing vessel in America's military, and one of only two commissioned sailing vessels, along with the USS Constitution.
