HPU Provides Security For USS Ronald Reagan June 25, 2024 June 19, 2024 - The U.S. Navy Harbor Patrol Unit provides security for the visiting aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) as it enter Apra Harbor, a deep-water port on the western side of the United States territory of Guam, for docking at Naval Base Guam. The dedicated Harbor Patrol Unit is always on watch, with a mission to detect, deter and defend. The team provides anti-terrorism and force protection for Apra Harbor and the entire Naval Base Guam. With highly trained coxswains and skilled Sailors, they safeguard our seas ensuring the safe passage of all vessels, including the forward-deployed and visiting ships.
