Reserve Soldiers Rappel From Blackhawk May 16, 2024
May 9, 2024 - U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 7th Mission Support Command, America's Army Reserve in Europe rappel from a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter during the evaluation phase of Air Assault School at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. Air Assault School is a 10-day course that qualifies soldiers to conduct air assault helicopter operations, to include aircraft orientation, sling load operations, proper rappelling, and fast-rope techniques. Reserve Soldiers are not often offered the opportunity to attend Air Assault School, making this an incredible opportunity for Soldiers stationed in Europe.
