5th CMSgt of USAF Memorial Service, Interment February 14, 2024 February 10, 2024 - Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) hosts the memorial service for fifth Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) of the Air Force Robert D. Gaylor (inset middle right) at JBSA-Lackland followed by his interment ceremony at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston. Top - Friends and family of fifth Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, Robert D. Gaylor left his home in Indiana to enlist in the Air Force and then called the San Antonio area his post-military home for more than four decades. He is survived by his son, Ken, and daughters Carol and Elaine. Gaylor spent more than seven decades improving the Air Force through its people.
