U.S. Astronaut With Longest Single Spaceflight October 3, 2023 September 27, 2023 - Expedition 69 NASA astronaut Frank Rubio, a U.S. Army Lt. Col. (Dr.), holds a Russian matryoshka doll that he was gifted outside the Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft after he landed with Roscosmos cosmonauts Dmitri Petelin and Sergey Prokopyev, in a remote area near the town of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan. The trio returned to Earth after logging 371 days in space as members of Expeditions 68-69 aboard the International Space Station.
