SWTACP Airmen Conduct Weapons Fire May 17, 2023
May 8, 2023 - Special warfare tactical air control party (SWTACP) airmen with the Idaho Air National Guard 124th Air Support Operations Squadron, conduct proficiency weapons fire training on a MRZR light tactical vehicle at Saylor Creek Air Force Range. The airmen also conducted training on Storm Search and Rescue Tactical vehicles, motorcycles, M240B machine gun, and MK19 grenade machine Gun. As the dedicated liaisons between ground forces and supporting aircraft, ASOS members must maintain proficiency on a variety of equipment to better assist their host units.
