$69 Million Illegal Narcotics Offload April 12, 2023
April 4, 2023 - Members of U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment 406 stand aboard U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) with Old Glory flying proudly behind them and $69 million in illegal narcotics on the deck in Port Everglades, Florida. The drugs were seized from four go-fast smuggling interdictions by crew members of Coast Guard LEDET 406, Navy Combat Element (CEL) and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Six Zero (HSM-60) in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
