March 7, 2023 - A memorable inspiring scene of U.S. Marine Corps World War II veteran Gold Fabian (100) in the company of proud Marines from The Silent Drill Platoon, who performed for the students of Canby High School and local veterans in Canby, Oregon. The visit is part of a joint effort between Marine Barracks Washington and Marine Corps Recruiting Command designed to increase awareness of the Marine Corps and prepare the unit for the upcoming summer parade season at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., the oldest post in the Marine Corps.
