Weapon Ready Airman Pulls OTW Security February 13, 2023
February 2, 2023 - U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Ward Mikami, Outside the Wire (OTW) Pre-deployment Training student, pulls rear security at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. This tactics training allows students to practice the “shoot, move, communicate” technique to prepare students for high risk scenarios they may encounter while deployed. OTW places students in realistic and strenuous training scenarios used to teach skills such as weapons control, combative techniques, communications, mounted and dismounted movements and land navigation.
