Space GPS For U.S. Military, Allies, Civil Use January 23, 2023
January 18, 2023 - A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the GPS III SV06 payload launches from Space Launch Complex-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The overall objective of GPS III is to deliver sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to U.S. military (including warfighters), our allies, and civil users that is three times more accurate with its signals and more compatible with international navigation systems.
