Going-To-The-Sun Road Scenic Beauty November 6, 2022
One of the many beautiful, breathtaking scenic views from the engineering marvel ... Going-To-The-Sun Road along its 50-mile Rock Mountains route within Glacier National Park in Montana ... that is available once snow, ice covered conditions are no longer present, which can extend into late-May. It is the only road that traverses the park, crossing the Continental Divide through Logan Pass at an elevation of 6,646 feet, which is the highest point on the road. Glacier National Park is a paradise for adventurous visitors seeking wilderness with melting glaciers, alpine meadows, carved valleys, and spectacular lakes along with reliving the days of old through historic chalets and lodges. Along with the unique Going-To-The-Sun Road ... are its 700 plus miles of trails that offer hikers and bikers unique visual experiences too.
