Black Hornet Nano Drone October 18, 2022
October 13, 2022 - A U.S. Army soldier, assigned to Palehorse Troop, 4th Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, prepares to catch a PD-100 Black Hornet Nano Drone during a situational training exercise at the 7th Army Training Command's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. 2CR provides the 7th ATC with a lethal and agile force capable of rapid deployment throughout the European theater in order to assure allies, deter adversaries, and when ordered, defend the NATO alliance. The seven ounce Black Hornet drone, measuring around 6 in × 1 in, provides troops on the ground with local situational awareness. They are small enough to fit in one hand.
