CBP Searches Aircraft At JFK Airport September 25, 2022 August 16, 2022 - U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Aircraft Search Team (AST) at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport Queens, New York inspect aircraft compartments and vacated passenger areas. The AST members are trained to locate any illegal substances which may have been hidden onboard by passengers or employees; as well as, identifying mechanical irregularities.
