Space Force 10th Space Squad Activation June 19, 2022
June 6, 2022 - U.S. Space Force Col. Matthew Holston, Space Delta 8 commander, left, and Lt. Col. Jason Sanders, 10th Space Operations Squadron commander, right, reveal the 10 SOPS sign for the first time at the 10 SOPS activation ceremony at Point Mugu, California. 10 SOPS will fall under Space Operations Command’s satellite communication delta, DEL8, and perform the mission formerly fulfilled by the Naval Satellite Operations Center, which was disestablished the same day.
