Illegal Voyage Interdiction Near Puerto Rico January 21, 2022
The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Winslow Griesser interdicts a makeshift vessel with Dominican Republic nationals involved with an illegal voyage north of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on January 13, 2022. They were among 90 Dominican Republic nationals from three separate illegal voyage interdictions near Puerto Rico who were repatriated to the Dominican Republic on January 16, 2022.The interdictions are the result of ongoing local and federal multi-agency efforts in support of the Caribbean Border Interagency Group CBIG.
