Autumn Beauty Abounds At Telaquana Lake
October 22, 2021
Alaskan autumn colors abound in a spectacular nature view of trees dressed in yellow, orange and green leaves above the crimson ground near the blue waters of Telaquana Lake with the Neacola Mountains in the background under cloudy skies in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve.
Comprised of 4 million acres on the Alaska Peninsula in southwest Alaska, Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is a land of stunning beauty ... and one of the nation's most remote national park units. Volcanoes steam, salmon run, bears forage, and craggy mountains reflect in shimmering turquoise lakes. Lake Clark offers excellent opportunities for adventure, exploration, learning, and just plain having fun.
