Airmen Volunteer At VA Stand Down October 19, 2021
October 16, 2021 - Airman of the 168th Wing volunteer with the community to serve other Veterans during the 2021 Veterans Affairs (VA) Stand Down at Pioneer Park Civic Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. The VA Stand Down, which are typically one- to three-day events, allows Veterans to receive medical care, information on local community services, food, and winter gear. The event brings the Veterans and the Community together to give back to Veterans while enjoying music, raffles, camaraderie, and receiving services.
