Terrace Spring Stunning View September 24, 2021 A colorful stunning view of foggy rapids in the Terrace Spring runoff channel with snow covered hills in the background. The warm rushing water is created by the small grouping of thermal features in Yellowstone National Park that overlook a meadow in the distance and rolling hills of young lodgepole pines. A short boardwalk takes visitors amongst these hot springs. On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal and geologic wonders. People from around the world have been drawn to Yellowstone to witness these wonders for themselves. Now, millions of people come to Yellowstone each year to make lifelong memories of watching erupting geysers, roaming wildlife, and the artistry of thermophiles.
