Big Bend Scan For Illegal Immigrants August 25, 2021 August 18, 2021 - Border Patrol Agent Philip Winston, a Big Bend Sector Agent who works within Big Bend National Park, scans the desert terrain from a vantage point near the Rio Grande, while seeking illegal immigrants, including terrorists and other criminals, who may have crossed into the United States within the boundaries of the national park. Big Bend National Park is an example of shared federal law-enforcement jurisdiction and of the partnerships formed to accomplish the mission of protecting America and its natural resources.
