• Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall with the names of over 58,000 servicemen and women who gave their lives in service in the Vietnam Conflict.

• Vietnam Women's Memorial ... show women service members with a wounded male soldier during the Vietnam War. Many women served as nurses and physicians, while others acted as air traffic controllers, communication specialists, and intelligence officers. The Vietnam Women’s Memorial was established to honor the women who risked their lives to serve their country. The names of the eight women who died in Vietnam are included on the list.

For more than 200 years, the National Mall and Memorial Parks has symbolized our nation and its democratic values, which have inspired the world. It protects the National Mall, the great swath of over 1,000 green space acres in the middle of our capital city (Washington, D.C.) along with the iconic monuments and memorials.
