SFC Dustin Dearborn Awarded Soldier's Medal June 20, 2021
June 18, 2021 - U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Dustin Dearborn of the Army Mountain Warfare School, 124th Regional Training Institute, Vermont Army National Guard, is awarded the Soldier's Medal for heroism by Vermont State Governor Phil Scott at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vermont. Sergeant Dearborn and his team operated a night rescue mission in frigid winter temperatures to save the life of a downed skier.
