Marine Fires M40A6 Sniper Rifle March 16, 2021
March 8, 2021 - U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Kevin Ackernecht with 2d Reconnaissance Battalion (Recon Bn.), 2d Marine Division, fires an M40A6 sniper rifle on range G-21, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. 2d Recon Bn. and Dutch Marines with 32nd Raiding Squadron, utilized the range for sniper training during Exercise Caribbean Urban Warrior, a bilateral training evolution which increased interoperability between the two countries in various environments.
