Awe Inspiring View Of Denali February 18, 2021 A stunning, awe inspiring view of Denali, North America’s tallest mountain at 20,310 feet, towering above smaller mountains haloed by clouds under the blue sky of Alaska. Denali's is also known as Mount McKinley, its former official name. Denali National Park and Preserve has been a mecca for mountaineering and adventuring for more than a century. Today, the 6 million acre park continues to enchant climbers, pack-rafters, skiers, dog mushers and athletes seeking to test themselves against the raw, unchecked power of a truly wild landscape. Trails in the park are near the park road, and mainly near the park entrance. However, Denali offers visitors a rare opportunity to hike off trail in a wild landscape.
